The EDQG Board has eight elected positions – the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and four Directors – Education, Member Services, Outreach and Governance. The Past Chair is not elected and is filled by the outgoing Chair. Four positions are elected each year for a two-year term. By arranging the board this way, there are experienced Board members who are available to guide new members each year.
Occasionally, there are changes to this pattern. As we all know, changes can occur in our lives and while we are hopeful that people can fulfill the two-year term, this sometimes is not possible. This year we will be filling five positions – Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and two Directors – Education and Members Services.
The EDQG Election is an opportunity for you to select people to guide the EDQG.
